HEY THERE,
Hi, I’m Sara, a product designer and researcher on the Customer Connection Team at National Grid in Waltham, Massachusetts. I thrive on transforming complex workflows and messy data into clear, intuitive experiences. I love the mental gymnastics it takes to untangle systems, align internal operations with external user needs, and create applications that actually make people’s jobs easier.
While the future of product design and research is evolving rapidly, I’m confident that no AI — at least not anytime soon — can navigate the nuance of designing for intricate business processes, legacy software constraints, and human-centered decision-making. That’s where thoughtful design still matters most.
I live in Burlington, MA, where you’ll usually find me either cooking something ambitious in my kitchen or lifting heavy things at the gym (both activities oddly similar to design: prep, repetition, and a little chaos).
